About Us
Dr. Ing. Jos Schaefers
Simplicity founder
After working in public education and shifting his focus to research and innovation, Jos helped manage a large research team in the field of industrial technologies for 20 years. It is from this angle that he entered the consulting work in 1989.
Starting from his engineering background, he obtained a PHD in robotics. Next to the research work he has been continuously teaching. He has held teaching responsibilities an associate adjunct professor at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, at Sacred Heart University, Universities of Metz and Nancy and the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, among others.
Since 1995 he has been an APICS Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM) and is an expert for the theory of constraints (TOC) method.
In his consulting work he combines his wide experience with cutting-edge behaviour-orientated approaches enabling you to put concepts and theories to work with your team. Encouraging you to look at the same problem differently, he also hopes to help shape a new culture inside of your company.
